Kaylee Harwood is an award-winning performer, director and arts educator whose work spans from the Stratford & Shaw Festivals to Broadway, National Tours & Radio City Music Hall.

Kaylee has tread the boards at Broadway's Neil Simon Theatre, La Jolla Playhouse, The Citadel, The Grand, Arts Club and the Niagara Symphony Orchestra. She appeared as Mrs. Claus in the Radio City Christmas Spectacular starring the Rockettes and toured North America for two years on the 1st & 2nd National Tours of Beautiful: The Carole King Musical. Recently, she starred as Jenna in Waitress (Capitol Theatre) and Kate/Lilli in Kiss Me, Kate (Drayton), appeared in Life After (Yonge Street Theatricals, Dora Award nomination) and Titaníque (Mirvish/Segal). She directed UnCovered: U2 & The Rolling Stones, directed/produced the independent miniseries The Dressing Room, and was nominated for a Dora Award for Outstanding Direction for ReTold (Musical Stage Company). Kaylee’s appearance as Carole King (Stage West) garnered a Calgary Theatre Critics’ Award nomination and a Betty Mitchell Award for Outstanding Lead Performance.

Kaylee spent two seasons as an RBC Apprentice Director and Kathleen C. Freeman Leadership Development Fund Recipient with The Musical Stage Company in Toronto where she worked on Now What? The Art of Moving On (Co-Conceiver and -Director) and Dixon Road (Assistant Director). She staged/dramaturged MSC’s UnCovered: Fleetwood Mac & The Eagles and UnCovered: U2 & The Rolling Stones, in addition to directing two triptychs of new Canadian musicals: Retold (MSC) and In Studio: The Words and Music of Britta Johnson (Theatre Sheridan). She was Assistant Director to Tye Blue on Titaníque (Mirvish/Segal), Ray Hogg on Controlled Damage (The Grand) and Directing Associate to Robert McQueen on Pollyanna the Musical (Theatre Aquarius). Kaylee teaches private singing lessons, coaches auditions, and has led workshops at the Stratford Festival, University of Toronto and Trinity Western University.
